Grownups
What do you want to be when you grow up?
Are you even sure of being a grandpa or a grandma
Or actually you really don't want to grow up.
When i was little young I was eager to be a teen
But when i reached ten
I was even more curious to be eighteen
I wanted to Get an id
Go to clubs and parties and get wild
The dreams and desires I saw when i was a child
Kulamba sukari
Kutumia wire kuunda gari
Kuchezaa ma matope but with all this ungeniita mtoto
I could run mad
Vyakoko I always acted like a grown up guess that's why i was always a dad..
Nani hakutakaa Kuwa baba? Au uncle
Any character associated with a kid
Made me sad..
As a teenager
I felt the need of securing my private parts cause i could see them in danger
Things we're more confuse
I didn't know the facts to agree with and what to refuse
In this stage a lot of things really didn't make sense
Let's start with the pubic hair which i didn't know whether to have them or shave
Got irritated and aggressive
Parents telling me to behave
The mixed emotions not knowing who hate and who to love.
On that note I remember telling a lot of girls I love them and things changing when you meet someone more beautiful
The relationship really didn't last
Cause at last i realized it was only lust
At eighteen i taught i was free
Believe i could do everything my hobbies and still earn a degree
But when you are free drinks aren't only tea and coffee
Preference change
Like in campus they will ask do you take wine, vodka or whisky?.
More Bash
More crash
Spend a lot of cash
Twenty five
Am still Alive
But am not living better say na Survive
With couples goals kidogo kidogo nilishafunga Bao
Responsibilities ni kibao
Si mtoi anataka pampers mrembo anadai kupeleka out school fees na rent ya hao.
Mtaaani mabeste wananiuliza
Kejani wife anadai nifike kabla ya Giza
Na loans si tala tu na fuliza
Kuna this other Branch ilinipea loan
Wakati bebs alitaka kuenda salon
And now niko na wife but this loans can't live me alone
Na energy ya kuwork also feels gone.
Life starts at forty
Nishajenga kaploti
My brains do a lot of work while my mind puts more effort
Sikuizi Mimi si mnaughty
And I think am old enough
My skin is a little bit rough
So apart from the money I save
I also realize pia Jesus save
Na niko na hopes ya kuenda heaven when iam laid in my grave.
